The BBC reported May 23, 2008, that Kansas City, Missouri car dealership Max Motors is offering a free semi-automatic handgun with every vehicle sold. 
Sales have quadrupled since the start of the offer. Owner Mark Muller said, "We're just damn glad to live in a free country where you can have a gun if you want to."For a bit of revisionist history entitled "Our Real Roots," check out Max Motors' "Guns and Gas" website.
